The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Partner to join the Newark office and lead high-stakes matters while bringing and expanding a significant portable book of business.

This is an opportunity for a partner with a substantial client following to join a platform that:

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead complex litigation across industries, with full control of your client relationships.

  • Leverage and grow an existing portable book of $800K+ in annual collections.

  • Expand your client base by collaborating with partners in complementary practices.

  • Drive client success through effective case strategy, team leadership, and direct involvement.

  • Contribute to firm growth by mentoring associates and participating in business development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum $800K portable book of business with hourly billing revenue.

  • Proven success in complex litigation matters (excluding insurance defense).

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of client development and expansion.

  • JD degree and active bar admission in NJ (NY admission preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $264,000 – $495,000 (based on book size $800K – $1.5M+)

  • Origination & Collection Credit: 33%+ of collections, with monthly bonus payouts

  • Typical Total Annual Compensation: $530,000 – $990,000+ (higher for books above $1.5M)

  • Infrastructure: Experienced associates, paralegals, administrative staff, and marketing team to maximize leverage.
