Position Summary:
The Legal Assistant supports attorneys and staff across global legal operations at both fund and investment levels. This role promotes legal compliance, contributes to audit and immigration processes, manages legal documentation, and ensures accurate recordkeeping in iManage. The Legal Assistant also acts as a key liaison between regional deal teams and the global legal function.
Essential Functions:- Draft officer’s certificates, corporate resolutions, and other legal documentation.
- Assist in the collection of documents required for Fund and other entity audits as required by a third-party auditor.
- Assist in the management of U.S. immigration activities, including the collection of documents required for visa applications and liaising between outside counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the coordination of all aspects of Know Your Client (KYC) reviews of the various Fund, Lone Star, and Hudson entities required by transaction counterparties.
- Maintain all transaction documents in the iManage system with the ability to quickly locate precedent forms and documents.
- Assist with the handling of Treasury (e.g., credit agreements, cash management, etc.), Global Markets (e.g., derivatives), and related financial and other regulatory legal matters.
- Assist in the execution of legal documentation.
- Prepare and route funding memos for approval.
- Grow in the position to provide analysis of and information relating to the complex legal structure of Fund, Lone Star, and Hudson entities to both internal and external customers.
- Assist with the management of complex projects within the department ensuring timely completion and expert analytical interpretation.
- Perform ad hoc and special projects as assigned.

- Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Certificate program in paralegal studies preferred.
- Notary Public preferred.
- 5-7 years of legal experience with a law firm, in-house legal department, or family office.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, TEAMS, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with DocuSign and other electronic signature applications.
- iManage experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficiency in GEMS or another entity management database system preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency utilizing AI or similar technology preferred, but not required.
- This position operates in a professional office environment.
- This role’s working hours vary depending on business activity.
