Job Description

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB), a multi-office national defense firm, is seeking a Paralegal with 2+ years of First Party Property litigation experience to join our Daytona Beach office. This is a full-time positionoffering a hybrid work model, providing flexibility to work both remotely and in-office as needed.

About the Role

The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys handling a high-volume caseload of First Party Property matters, supporting all aspects of litigation from file management and discovery through trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and analyze insurance claim files, discovery materials, and deposition transcripts

  • Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence under attorney direction

  • Prepare summaries of medical records, expert reports, and property damage documentation

  • Coordinate hearings, depositions, and inspections; assist with calendar management

  • Manage document production and assist in trial preparation, including exhibits and witness coordination

  • Maintain organized case files, ensuring all deadlines and procedural requirements are met

  • Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paralegal in First Party Property litigation

  • Strong understanding of Florida civil litigation procedures and court rules

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal software; experience with Litify/Salesforce is a plus

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
