Duties Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist supporting the Department of Justice's information technology needs in the Eastern District of Louisiana. As an Information Technology Specialist, you will provide technical and analytical support across a range of IT functions, supporting DOJ systems, cybersecurity, collaboration tools, and infrastructure. Typical work assignments will include: Managing DOJ-issued desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and multifunction devices, as well as on-premises and cloud infrastructure in a Microsoft 365 hybrid Active Directory environment. Providing Tier I through Tier III support to district users across the state using the district's ManageEngine ServiceDesk ticketing system. Delivering training and maintaining documentation for Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Webex, and core IT processes. Supporting the district's intranet (Drupal) and maintaining SharePoint Online communication and team sites. Enforcing Department of Justice cybersecurity policies, managing privileged user access, and supporting two-factor authentication using Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards. Using PowerShell, Visual Basic Scripting (VBScript), Windows shell scripting, Power Apps, and Power Automate to streamline IT operations and support policy compliance. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Salary- $68,545 - $97,867/year
