Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney with 3–5 years including some federal court and/or removal experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration law, particularly removal proceedings, and a background in federal court practice. This position can be performed largely remotely, with in-person appearances needed on occasion in the greater LA area. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in immigration removal and/or federal court proceedings
  • Draft legal briefs, motions, petitions, and other pleadings for federal courts.
  • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
  • Manage a caseload of complex immigration matters.
  • Collaborate with legal team members, including supervising attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Stay current with evolving immigration laws and policies.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to California bar.
  • 3–5 years of experience in immigration removal defense, with a focus on federal litigation.
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
