About the Role >>> Legal Intern
We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Legal Intern, reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Law. As a Legal Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment and gain hands-on experience in the biotech industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative women’s oncology company with significant potential to transform breast cancer treatments. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the life sciences industry, hands-on learning, teamwork, have exceptional analytical and communication skills, and are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This position is an 8-week paid summer internship. The base pay is $22/hour and you will be working 40 hours onsite Monday through Friday at our Cambridge office.
Your work will primarily encompass:
- Assist in day-to-day corporate tasks, including related to securities laws and related compliance, Nasdaq requirements, corporate governance, and record keeping.
- Research issues in corporate law, as needed, including related to corporate governance, current SEC regulations, Nasdaq, employment law, and other corporate matters.
- Assist in review of external and internal communications, corporate transactions, and other items on an as-needed basis.
- Assist in maintaining the contract data base.
- Update Clause Library with key terms, and clauses.
- Conduct review of and assist in drafting of select documents such as Confidential Disclosure Agreements.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited law school with at least one year of law school completed
- Strong academic background with coursework in relevant legal areas
