Job Summary:
The Junior Legal Trainer will support the development and delivery of legal training materials and sessions, ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines and objectives. This role involves collaboration with subject matter experts, legal quality assurance team and supervisors to meet the legal training needs of the Firm and its members. The position requires a mix of virtual and in-person training delivery, along with occasional travel. The Junior Legal Trainer works under the supervision of the Legal Trainer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Material Development:

- Assist in developing and reviewing the legal content of training materials.
- Contribute to the design of training materials as needed.
- Ensure the legal content complies with organizational guidelines and is accurate and up-to-date.

- Training Delivery:

- Facilitate virtual and in-person legal training sessions.
- Schedule training sessions promptly upon request, ensuring the inclusion of all necessary participants.
- Travel, when required, to conduct in-person training sessions.

- Learning Tools and Assessments:

- Ensure Google Classroom activities are relevant and aligned with the legal course content.
- Collaborate on the design of knowledge assessments and diagnostic evaluations to measure learning outcomes.

- Needs Assessment and Collaboration:

- Assist in identifying the training needs of the organization and its members.
- Work closely with leaders and the QA team to address additional training requirements as they arise.
- Onboarding and Guidance:

- Provide Comprehensive Support: Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members by offering clear guidance and resources, including structured "On the Job Training (OJT).
- Organize Refresher Training: Schedule and conduct refresher training sessions to ensure team members remain updated on procedures and best practices.
- Deliver Constructive Feedback: Provide timely and actionable feedback throughout the 90-day probation period, adhering to organizational guidelines and ensuring alignment with performance expectations.
- Share probation period feedback with the team member, SME, and supervisor. Maintain thorough documentation to support transparency and accountability.

Requirements and skills:
- Minimum 2 Years Experience in humanitarian immigration.
- This role suits a confident self-starter who can work on their own initiative when required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills are a crucial requirement for the role.
- Experience in teaching and/or attendance with both virtual and in-person training is preferred.
- Present a professional approach and must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, with a sense of initiative, strong people, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- A bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited college or university
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
- Adaptability to take on evolving responsibilities within the organization.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Location: In-Office Position
Schedule: Monday to Friday and will vary, depending on the company’s needs. Weekends and outside of normal business hours may be required.
