Job Overview Summary
Our Summer Intern Program is aimed at providing an enriching and mutually beneficial experience that empowers young talent with the skills, knowledge, and values needed to excel in their chosen fields and prepare them for the next step in their careers. In addition to their working teams, the cohort will have regular opportunities to engage with each other and senior leaders from across Advarra to expand their networks and exposure to the business.
Summer Internsâ¯willâ¯work closely with members ofâ¯the Legal Departmentâ¯toâ¯provideâ¯legal support across various functions of the company.â¯You willâ¯gain valuable experience in legal research, drafting documents, andâ¯assistingâ¯with legal projects that are critical to the company’s growth and operations.â¯This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience and exposure to variousâ¯legal practice areasâ¯in a fast-paced and innovative environment.â¯
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assistâ¯in the preparation and review of legal documents, including contracts and policiesâ¯
- Assistâ¯with legal research on a variety of topics, including corporate governance, intellectual property, contracts, employment law, and regulatory complianceâ¯
- Help with compliance tasks, including monitoring legal developments and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulationsâ¯
- Participate in meetings, take notes, and contribute to discussionsâ¯regardingâ¯ongoing legal projectsâ¯
- Support the legal team in managing corporate filings, records, and internal documentationâ¯
- Assistâ¯with the creation and implementation of internal policies and proceduresâ¯
- Assistâ¯in the drafting of legal correspondence and reportsâ¯
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, information security, HR, and operations, to support legal initiativesâ¯
- Perform other legal administrative tasks asâ¯requiredâ¯
Location
This role is open to candidates working remotely in âthe United Statesâ.â¯
Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduateâ¯degreeâ¯requiredâ¯â¯
- Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor (JD) program or equivalent legal degree program at an accredited law schoolâ¯strongly preferredâ¯
- Strong interest in corporate law,â¯commercial law,â¯compliance, intellectual property, or other relevant practice areasâ¯
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to participate in the cohort beginning Monday, June 1, 2026 and running through Friday, August 7, 2026 and work either part time or full time between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm EST
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Previousâ¯internship or relevant legal experience is a plus, but notâ¯requiredâ¯

Physical and Mental Requirements
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
- Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
