This position is full-time, in office position that is open to Paralegals in South Florida region. Company is based in Fort Lauderdale and is US-based real estate firm, specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of real estate assets. The ideal candidates will have experience in the areas of 1) Real Estate; 2) Transactional Real Estate; 3) Title Work; 4) Contract Review; and In-House/Corporate work. Candidates must have experience with Florida State Laws and Procedures in the above areas.
Candidates should be proficient in the drafting, reviewing, collection and organization of documents, forms and information from various cases at the company, meeting with and assisting clients via phone, Zoom or Google Meet, obtaining necessary records & reports, drafting pleadings and discovery, calendaring deadlines on a firm calendar, etc. Candidates should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases organized in an online database.
The perfect candidates are proactive, detailed-oriented, team players with the ability to work well independently and maintain a high level of attention to all details and timeliness of deadlines.

Hours and Compensation
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Compensation: $60,000 per year with benefits
Responsibilities
- Draft real estate, transactional real estate documents and contracts, title work, obtain documents and records from clients and state and local agencies, be familiar with all aspects of Real Estate Laws and Procedures in the State of Florida
- Review and edit legal documents pertaining to real estate, transactional real estate, contracts, and title work Law in the State of Florida
- Calendaring deadlines and meetings
- Meeting with clients when necessary
- Create and maintain electronic and paper case files
- Conduct research
- Communication with clients, in-house and external attorneys, state and local agencies, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in the above listed areas for 5+ years
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe programs
