An experienced Litigation Associate Attorney for our Healthcare team is sought for Frier Levitt's Pine Brook, NJ, office. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for:
- Drafting of appeals to Medical Insurance Companies on behalf of providers
- Extensive oral and written communication with clients and experts on factual investigation, case strategies and case status
- Drafting responses to medical licensing board investigations
- Review, analysis and indexing of document production
- Preparing administrative law judge hearing/trial binders
- Conducting negotiations with investigators
- Preparing witness outlines and exhibits for Medical Board hearings, arbitrations, and before administrative agencies
- Conducting oral argument at ALJ hearings
- Communicating and providing status reports to insurance company claim representatives
Requirements:
- 1-4 years of experience in litigation (healthcare experience a plus)
- Must be willing to work in the Pine Brook, NJ, office a minimum of 2 days per week
- Admitted to practice in at least one US state
- Experience performing most/all of the job responsibilities of the position (outlined above)
- Exceptional writing skills
- Excellent oral skills

- Team-player mindset, and ability to work cohesively and collaboratively with a team of attorneys
- Strong work ethic
- Able to manage a large case load and meet deadlines
- Minimum law school GPA of 3.0 preferred

Salary- $155,000 - $175,000/year
