Are you an experienced IT professional with a background in technical support, application lifecycle management, and legal technology systems? Our established law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Technical Support Manager to oversee and support critical business applications and infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone with expertise in Citrix, SQL, SCCM/MECM, iManage, and Microsoft 365 who thrives in a fast-paced, client-service-focused environment. Join a collaborative team where your input helps drive innovation, performance, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end technical support for line-of-business applications and core systems including:

    • Citrix

    • SQL Server

    • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)

  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve IT issues promptly and professionally.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise applications—packaging, updating, deploying, and retiring—aligned with industry best practices.

  • Maintain and optimize Windows workstation and server images, ensuring consistency, reliability, and performance.

  • Participate in monthly security patching, address emergency vulnerabilities, and ensure all endpoints are secure and compliant.

  • Monitor applications and systems proactively to prevent user-impacting disruptions.

  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex application or help desk support issues, providing thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation in compliance with IT standards and change management protocols.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical support, application engineer, or IT systems role; law firm or professional services experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)

    • Citrix, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy

    • PowerShell scripting for automation

    • SQL Server, including queries and database management

  • Experience with key legal applications such as:

    • iManage Work

    • Litera Desktop Suite

    • Microsoft 365

    • Intune MDM

    • Zoom and CAM

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
