Your day as a Director of Legal Affairs
As the Director of Legal Affairs at The Wisconsin Credit Union League, you will work with our credit union members to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Expect to research, develop, and update The League's compliance information and materials for use by credit unions and League staff. Your role will also involve consulting with regulators, credit union representatives, league staff, and legal counsel to address or resolve compliance and operational issues.
Additionally, you will provide training and support on legal matters to credit unions.
You'll foster a culture of legal excellence and integrity across the organization, ensuring that our members receive the highest level of service and protection.

To be successful as the Director of Legal Affairs at The Wisconsin Credit Union League, candidates should possess a robust set of skills that align with our core values. A Juris Doctorate (JD) is required from an accredited law school, as well as active membership in the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Candidates should also demonstrate adaptability and creativity in problem-solving, as challenges may arise that require innovative thinking.
