Associate Attorney - Social Security Department

Purpose: We are seeking an experienced attorney who wants to join of the South’s fastest-growing law firms as an Associate Attorney in our Social Security Disability practice. We are seeking an experienced, client-focused attorney to manage cases from intake through resolution.

This is a full-time, in-person position in our Birmingham, Alabama, office with a competitive salary, discretionary bonus, and comprehensive benefits. 

Responsibilities:

• Handle Social Security Disability cases, including hearings and appeals.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Communicate with clients and provide updates.
• Manage a high-volume caseload independently.

Qualifications:

• J.D. and active Alabama Bar membership in good standing.
• 3+ years’ experience in Social Security law preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Passionate about helping clients and achieving results.
