
Job Description
These positions will support the Veteran and Family Member Programs ( VFMP) Directorate, Office of Integrated Veteran Care (OIVC). Incumbent serves as a Contact Representative under the Unit Supervisor of the CHAMPVA Eligibility Enrollment Department.
Duties The primary purpose of the position is to assists Veterans, their beneficiaries, and other interested parties, with the application process and obtaining a program authorization. Explains administrative procedures and policies in the processing of applications for benefits, and any time delays in the administration of benefit eligibility. Verification of data entry of initial application input and determines eligibility. Examines applications for possible errors and acts according to current operational policies, as well as exercising judgment in resolution where policies may be vague, or interpretation may be required. Responsible for the processing and making legal determinations on: CHAMPVA, and comprehensive health care programs. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am- 4:30pm Telework: This position may be authorized for telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
