About the Position: Position(s) will be filled under the Department of the Army Pathways Intern Program. Click here or more information on Pathways program participation. As a trainee, is assigned a variety of duties intended to provide the employee with a good working knowledge of various programs, policy, regulations, and implementing legislation. Housing NOT provided, relocation incentive NOT provided.
Duties- Pathways Internship positions provide for development and training. Assignments become more responsible as incumbent increases knowledge and skills through work experience and academic training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to:
- Perform legal research to investigate questions of law raised in response to matters for action.
- Prepare legal memoranda and other written documents in accordance with general law school standards.
- Provide support for agency and bid protests, contract claims and appeals, freedom of information act, and labor-related claims as well as for real estate actions.
- Draft correspondence and legal opinions.
