Duties If selected for this position, you will serve as a Victim Assistance Specialist with the United States Attorney's Office, Middle District of Tennessee. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Provides information to attorneys regarding victims and makes recommendations about potential challenges. Develops and implements specific program activities which promote compliance with Federal victim laws and guidelines. Provides victims with victim rights information, case notifications, phone assistance and in-court support. Guides victims through criminal justice system. Prepares victims for courtroom appearances and/or contacts with legal representatives. Obtains services and assistance for victims through community resources and other specific federal programs and funds. Conducts victim assistance workshops, seminars and meetings with law enforcement and federal, state and local investigative agencies and community organizations. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Salary- $61,111 - $96,116/year
