
The Arizona Attorney General’s Office Child and Family Protection Child Protection Division/Protective Services Section is seeking a Legal Secretary Supervisor to train and provide support to new legal secretaries, assist the Office Administrator in overseeing as well as co-managing workflow; work closely with contracted service providers and their clients.
Remote Options: This position may be eligible for Remote Work two days a week.
This position provides secretarial support to one or more Assistant Attorneys General which includes; preparation of all legal pleadings and documents necessary to process dependency/severance cases on behalf of the client; drafting and typing correspondence; answering inquiries from client, court personnel, and others regarding case activity and status; inputting data into and using an automated case management system to maintain and track case records and activity; independently generating legal forms needed in all types of actions; maintaining court calendar and legal deadlines; preparing documents and legal memoranda; and other projects as assigned, including transcription. Duties involve reviewing, creating, and processing materials and information that are confidential by Federal and State laws. Preferred candidate will have extensive experience as a legal secretary in the Protective Services Section, and a solid understanding of our processes and procedures. Regular attendance is required.
Salary- $31,909 - $52,000

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and at least three years full-time employment as a legal secretary. The completion of a post high school legal secretary/paralegal-training program may substitute for one year of the legal secretary experience.
• Travel may be required for this position. A valid Arizona Driver’s License is required, along with consent to have your driving record run periodically.
