Job Description:
Purpose of Position:
The position is responsible for certification of all data. The position will also perform research, complete projects and quality assurance audits.
This is a remote position that requires being based in the state of Florida.
Primary Responsibilities:
Data Processing - Performs data entry, correction, posting and research activities for all document classes.
- Access title information applications and workflow tools to view legal document images and prepare for data entry, correction, posting and research activities.
- Review legal documents and applies Fund Standards and research results to determine required information for data entry, corrections, posting and research activities.
- Classify documents into the correct index category. (e.g. PI/GI/NI)
- Enter/correct/research all required fields for all document classes.
- Enter/research/validate posted legal descriptions for all document classes.
Certification – performs all actions required to meet timely Certification of all documents
- Ensure that all data entry, correction, mapping and research tasks are complete in accordance with Certification Standards.
- Responsible for maintaining “best possible” Certification status and updating status.
Quality Assurance – performs assigned quality assurance audits
- Responsible for auditing data to ensure compliance to Fund Standards.
- Complete assignments within acceptable range of error percentage according to Title Plant guidelines/standards/procedures.
- Consistently strives to achieve service goals.
- Maintain an acceptable level of productivity, as determined by The Fund’s productivity system.
- Own a customer’s issue from initial contact to resolution or transition the issue to the appropriate person.
- Ensure company policies and financial controls are understood and uniformly followed and administered and ensure work activities are carried out in compliance with federal, state and local laws.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist in training of support department personnel.
- Responsible for conducting advanced research projects.
- Ability to research and resolve posting alerts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- One to two years data entry experience required. Minimum typing skills of 40 WPM, required.
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment preferred.

The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work. Factors which may be used to determine the actual pay rate may include, but are not limited to, education, training or experience; seniority; merit and work performance; quantity or quality of production; regional differences in compensation; differences in local minimum wages, or ability and effort.
Pay Range for the position is $19.00 - $20.00 hourly.
Old Republic complies with all federal, state and local laws including minimum wage requirements. In the event a minimum hourly rate stated is lower than the minimum wage required by law, Old Republic will always pay an amount equal to or greater than the minimum wage required by law.
