Empower Legal Excellence as a Paralegal!

 

As a Paralegal, you’ll play a vital role in supporting corporate governance functions and managing the contract process with precision and expertise. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Assistant General Counsel, you’ll ensure seamless operations and compliance through your organizational skills and legal knowledge.

 

From assisting with essential governance activities to streamlining contract management, your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of the organization. Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Filings and Record Management
    Preparation and submission of documents/forms to support corporate operations, including applications to do business in foreign states, annual reports, and related filings/documentation as required by the Secretary of State.

  • Entity Formation and Subsidiary Management
    Assist with entity formation, drafting corporate organizational documents, subsidiary management, and maintaining corporate records.

  • Employment Claims and Litigation Administration
    Administer employment claims and litigation, including drafting responses to EEOC/state human rights claims, attorney demand letters, and requests for records, while coordinating with local counsel and insurance adjusters.

  • Legal Research and Regulatory Support
    Perform research and support activities on legal and regulatory issues such as privacy laws (HIPAA, HITECH, state laws), pharmacy regulations, correctional healthcare, and other federal and state laws.

  • Contract Management
    Participate in all aspects of the contract management process, including drafting, negotiation, and approval phases, while improving procedures, tools, and maintaining contract databases.


Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree.

Experience:

  • Required: Two (2) years of experience as a paralegal, preferable in both law firm and corporate legal department settings.
  • Required: Complex contract drafting, negotiation, database management, and corporate records management experience.

Certifications:

  • Required: Paralegal certificate.
