Litigation Attorney

Position: Litigation Attorney

Location: Columbus, OH

Plunkett Cooney, one of the largest and most accomplished law firms in the Midwest, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to add to the Columbus, Ohio team.

The preferred candidate will be an experienced and versatile attorney, with a client-centric philosophy, and who has demonstrated an ability to compete and prosper in complex environments.

To be considered, candidates must have:

• At least 3 or more years of experience in insurance defense, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, general negligence, property damage, and other general business matters
• General litigation motion writing and courtroom oral skills
• Excellent research, legal brief writing and communication skills are required
• Be comfortable learning new computer software
• Strong analytical, writing, communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work on a team and be responsive to other lawyers and clients
• A J.D. from an ABA-approved law school, and
• An active status in the Ohio State Bar

We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer, who has demonstrated an ability to compete and prosper in highly competitive and complex environments with significant client contact. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
