Accenture Federal Services is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Senior Counsel who will support internal and client-facing operations. Our successful candidate will partner with legal, business, and technical leadership to interpret and apply cybersecurity regulations and policy across the company’s operations and lines of business.
The Work:
- Principal counsel for cybersecurity compliance, risk and mitigation.
- Lead a team that is responsible for cybersecurity incident analysis & response, supply chain risk management, Artificial Intelligence, and intellectual property
- Design and help implement policies, procedures, and tools related to cybersecurity
- Support contracting teams to understand and mitigate contractual and delivery risk related to cybersecurity requirements
- Advise the business on the application of cybersecurity considerations to emerging technologies like AI and blockchain
- Provide strong collaboration with CIO & CISO to anticipate and address cyber threats, risk, and compliance with existing and forthcoming rules and regulations
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training to targeted audiences
Here Is What You Need:
- Bachelors Degree and Juris Doctorate
- 10+ years of legal experience
- 5+ years of of legal cyber experience
- Experience with cybersecurity regulations applicable to federal government contractors
- Experience with cyber incident management
- Active member of a state bar
- Local to the Metro DC area
Bonus Points If:
- Knowledge of federal government contracting regulations and environment
- Experience with internal investigations
- Relevant experience with law firm, government agency, or corporate legal department
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues in an understandable and persuasive manner to technical and business leaders at all organizational levels
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a cross-functional team
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment, leveraging telephonic, electronic, and face-to-face communications skills

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
