Job Description
Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities.
Duties Formulates institution supplements to ensure Bureau of Prisons (BOP) policy is properly implemented at the institution level in the area of case management. Provides technical assistance and serves as a resource for institution and administrative staff in case management and related areas. Assists with Case Manager training during the on-the-job training required at the time of their entry on duty in the position. Serves as a liaison with the U.S. Parole Commission, U.S. Probation Service and the federal courts. Assists with the certification of staff in central inmate monitoring procedures and responsibility for the proper operation of the institution screening and locator center. Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and is performed on a regular and recurring basis. Salary- $78,745 - $102,364/year
