One of New York's top personal injury law firms is seeking a bilingual Personal Injury Intake Specialist. This a full-time, on-site position located in our New York office.
The Intake Specialist is the first point of contact for our clients and plays a key role in providing a welcoming and professional experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, gathering detailed information about their accidents, injuries, medical treatment, and case-related documents
- Obtain and review police reports, witness statements, and other key documents
- Request, track, and summarize medical records; handle communications with insurance carriers, medical providers, and defense counsel
- Maintain organized electronic case files and ensure all key deadlines and statues of limitations are met
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including:
- Notice of Cliams
- Summonses and Complaints
- Bill of Particulars
- Discovery Demands and Responses
- Notes of Isse
- Subpoenas
- Trial preparation materials
- Electronically file legal documents in compliance with NYS and NYC court rules
- Prepare demand packages and support attorneys with discovery and case development
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 yeas of experience as a personal injury paralegal handling New York cases
- Strong understanding of NYS and NYC statutes, court rules, and legal procedures
- Experience with electronic court filing systems in New York
- Familiarity with SmartAdvocate (preferred but not required)
- NYS Notary Public license or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Demonstrates empathy, confidentiality, and a client-first mindset
- Punctual, accountable, and committed to going the extra mile for clients and colleagues

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
