About the Position: This position is part of the Reemployed Annuitants Cadre. Employees occupying these positions will provide emergency support to disaster-stricken areas throughout the United States. This position is a temporary position not to exceed (NTE) 1-year, however, at the discretion of management, the position may be converted to a term position up to a maximum not to exceed (NTE) 4-years.
Duties- Serve as a Senior EEO Specialist on an EEO staff.
- Independently resolve difficult issues/problems requiring comprehensive knowledge of the total EEO Program.
- Perform all stages of complaint processing to include counseling, conflict of interest complaints and class complaints.
- Coordinate the scheduling of construction operations.
- Provide surveillance of construction projects in natural disaster areas.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentation for the required briefings and present some of the data.
- Prepare FEMA damage survey reports; completes attachments, including photos, estimates, sketches, measurements, invoices and similar documents.
