The Role
We’re hiring a Legal Counsel to support our U.S. subsidiary, Origina Inc. — the largest contributor to our global business. This role is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact legal function, directly supporting commercial growth, operational integrity, and risk mitigation.
You’ll be a key business partner, advising on commercial contracts, regulatory risk, and corporate matters, and helping build a global, scalable legal operation.
As a trusted in-house legal partner, you’ll:
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements (customer, partner, and vendor).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and People teams to enable efficient, risk-aware deal execution.
- Provide legal guidance on federal and state laws, including employment law, data privacy, and sales practices.
- Support and enhance legal operations, including contract lifecycle management and template optimization.
- Monitor and advise on relevant U.S. regulatory trends, particularly in cybersecurity and financial services.
- Lead or contribute to internal legal training, documentation updates (e.g., Legal Handbook), and process improvements.
- Supervise two paralegals (with a focus on the U.S.-based team member).
- Participate in regular in-person meetings at our Plano, TX office under our hybrid working model.
Your Core Competencies

Your Qualifications
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5+ years’ experience, ideally a mix of in-house legal and private practice with focus on commercial and corporate law.
- Experience advising high-growth tech or SaaS companies preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. contract law, commercial negotiations, and employment law.
- Experience working in or with regulated industries (e.g., finance, insurance, health) is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead legal trainings and build internal legal enablement resources.
