Job Description
This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Chicago Division. This position(s) primary purpose is to serve as the Senior Mission Support Specialist for the Chicago Division. The incumbent directs the lifecycle of the division's security program, overseeing its development, planning, execution, and management.
Duties As a Senior Mission Support Specialist, your typical work assignments may include: Serving as the Senior Mission Support Specialist for the Domestic Division GSU, and provides overall planning and administration of programs, oversight and leadership to GSU in support of Division leadership by performing administrative, human resource liaison, internal control, logistics to include fleet, personal property (accountable and non-accountable) and supply management, quality assurance, Records Management, and TFO Management. Administrative policies, procedures, techniques, and planning strategies. Skill in planning and conducting special projects and studies to recommend improvements to business operations efficiency and effectiveness. Oral and written communication sufficient to deal convincingly and effectively with high-level officials both within and outside the Division; to prepare material for meetings/briefings; to conduct coordination; and to prepare staff actions (reports, briefings, correspondence, etc.) in final. Planning and conducting special projects and studies to recommend improvements to business operations efficiency and effectiveness. Developing new or modified work methods, organizational structures, management processes, and program administrative procedures. Salary- $100,059 - $154,682/year
