Creditor's Rights firm seeks entry-level Attorney for high volume practice. License to practice law in South Carolina is required. Attorney will need to appear for in-person court around the Greenville Metro Area and telephonic/virtual appearances statewide. Because this is an entry-level position, the candidate will be trained as appropriate. You are not expected to know everything but will be expected to learn and grow into the role.
Duties include:
*Negotiating with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.
*Legal Research
*Handling a caseload and providing analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.
*Traveling to various courts within South Carolina as legal representation in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
*Working with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.
*Treating all consumers/defendants with fairness and respect while creating fair payment solutions that fit their financial situation.
*Reviewing and drafting Legal Pleadings and Settlement Agreements

*J.D. from accredited law school with license to practice in South Carolina
*In-depth knowledge of Federal and State laws.
*Skilled in the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.
*Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
*Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
*Outstanding time management skills with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
Types of experience/skills that would make a candidate stand out:
*Spanish fluency.
*Prior experience in Creditor’s Rights, Bankruptcy or representing Debtors.
*Litigation experience.
