Job Description

Overview

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, is seeking a Legal Assistant in its Detroit office. Qualified candidates must have legal assistant experience, preferably in a law firm setting.

 

Responsibilities include supporting attorneys and various practice groups, creating exhibits, preparing pleadings and motions, document review and summary, organizing and filing electronic documents with the Courts, docket/calendar and other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with preparing and filing legal documents with Michigan State Courts is a must.
  • Knowledge of court rules, calendaring, docketing, e-filing and procedures.
  • Efficient at multi-tasking in a fast-paced, team-structured environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of iManage/Filesite, iTimekeep, and Chrome River is a plus.
