Duties Serves as an Inmate Classification & Computation Technician located within the Designations and Sentence Computation Center (DSCC) for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Responsible for Judgment & Commitment files, sentence computations, release audits of computations, computation case audits, security and control of records, and initial inmate classifications for designations. Collects all necessary information from the US District Court, US Marshal Service and US Probation Office, or other authorities needed to request and provide designation and compute inmates' sentences. Serves as a subject matter expert, assisting institution staff with responses to questions and interpretations of status and case law within their respective field. Salary- $49,365 - $78,630/year
