Job Description

Summer 2025 Internship - 40 hours/week - up to 12 weeks, starting late May. Candidates must be local to Northern Colorado for consideration.

Purpose and Scope

Support the Legal/Compliance function and grow your understanding of the Legal/Compliance environment in a pharmaceutical company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • The projects scopes will vary as needed and may include the following:
  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to support ongoing and applicable development projects.
  • Support a variety of day-to-day and/or project-related matters across Tolmar’s legal and compliance functions – commercial (e.g., contract support), intellectual property and compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Skill in effective communication, both orally and in writing.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Ability to work individually and ability to handle self-driven projects efficiently.
  • Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Education & Experience

  • Student pursuing a degree in pre-law or business administration with an interest in seeking a law degree or working in a compliance function post undergraduate studies.
  • Have achieved an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher.

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Some project-related domestic travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base rate is $19.00 per hour
  • Benefits include medical insurance and 401k participation

Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
