About Secretary:
Provides administrative support to the County Attorney's Office by ensuring efficient office operations through tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, recordkeeping, document processing, and coordination with internal staff and the public.- Essential Functions
- Greets and assists visitors to the department, providing general information or directing inquiries.
- Administers incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls, ensuring timely response and routing.
- Inputs, tracks and updates data into County databases, spreadsheets, and systems.
- Collects and process payments; issues receipts and maintains accurate financial records.
- Scans, copies, maintains, and organizes digital and physical records and documents in accordance with County procedures and schedules.
- Prepares and distributes correspondence, memos, reports, meeting agendas, and minutes.
- Maintains calendars, schedules meetings, and coordinates appointments for department staff.
- Enters and verifies payroll and accounting information for department.
- Assists with procurement, invoice processing, and tracking of departmental expenditures.
- Assembles and sorts transactions and documents, ensuring all paperwork is in proper order and reconciling missing items. Verifies accuracy of data before and after entry; identifies and corrects errors as needed.
- Orders and maintains office supplies.
- Maintains and applies knowledge in local, state, and federal regulations relevant to the process or assigned function.
- Provides input into the update and maintenance of function procedures, manuals and forms.
- Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a related field required.

Monday - Friday
8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
