As a Legal Assistant within our Real Estate Practice Group, you will play a critical role in supporting our team of 3 distinguished attorneys. Job Description:
- Provide high-level administrative support to 3 attorneys and 3 paralegals in the firm's Real Estate practice group.
- You will work within a collaborative + friendly team of other Legal Assistants and assist with drafting, case management, and coordination.
- Draft, review, and manage a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and closing statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy retrieval and adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Coordinate and manage attorney schedules, including arranging meetings, appointments, and court dates, while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and provide attorneys with pertinent information and updates on relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, billing, and correspondence, to ensure the smooth operation of the practice group.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting Real Estate Attorneys or Practice Groups and at least 2 years of overall legal assistant experience.
- Associate's degree or certification in paralegal studies preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Attributes: Proactive, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research databases, and case management software.
