Full Time


Compensation Range:  $130-150k base + generous incentives on case outcomes + strong benefits package

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Pre-Suit Case Ownership: Assume responsibility for personal injury matters post-intake, managing cases through pre-suit strategy, negotiation, and resolution in the state of Louisiana
  • Early Case Strategy & Valuation: Evaluate liability, damages, coverage, and treatment early; establish value ranges, negotiation strategy, and resolution paths
  • Negotiation & Advocacy: Negotiate firmly and effectively with insurance carriers, confidently handling resistance, disputes, and difficult conversations while maintaining professionalism and credibility
  • Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients as needed to explain strategy, address concerns, and support resolution, while working within a team-based client communication model
  • Paralegal Leadership & Accountability: Lead and manage paralegals assigned to your cases, setting clear expectations, enforcing timelines, and holding team members accountable to performance standards
  • Medical Records & Case Development: Review medical records and bills, oversee treatment progression, and ensure files are properly developed and positioned for demand
  • Workflow Discipline: Drive cases forward within established systems and timelines, identifying bottlenecks early and preventing stagnation
  • Judgment & Escalation: Identify cases requiring litigation and prepare clean, organized handoffs when escalation is necessary
  • Ethical Standards: Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable rules and regulations

Qualifications

Required

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  •  Active admission to the Louisiana state bar
  • Personal Injury experience with meaningful pre-litigation exposure in the state of Louisiana
  •  Strong negotiation skills and comfort engaging in contested conversations
  •  Demonstrated ability to lead and hold support staff accountable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, execute quickly, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Alignment with a culture that values urgency, ownership, and continuous improvement



Nice to Have:

  • Experience managing a large pre-suit caseload or working in a high-throughput environment
  • Background in fast-growing or performance-driven organizations
  • Comfort operating within structured systems while adapting to change
