Duties This Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist is responsible for directing personnel security matters and providing personnel security guidance, assistance, and support to applicants, contractors, managers, supervisors, and employees throughout USAO-DC. If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Supervisory Personnel Security Specialist support in the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Columbia, located in Washington, District of Columbia, focusing in the areas of personnel security.. Typical work assignments will include: Plans and directs work to be accomplished by the personnel programs staff. Participates in the development of performance standards. Interviews candidates for positions within the PSU and recommends appointments, promotions, or reassignments to such positions. Identifies ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work assigned to the PSU. Assists in the development of new or revised operating procedures to meet program requirements of the Human Resources Section and Administrative Division. Salary- $102,415 - $133,142/year
