This is an opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to support our Legal and Finance teams with leasing, real estate transactions, corporate/entity compliance, loan asset management and document management. This role involves frequent coordination with internal teams, outside counsel, lenders, and government agencies. Active New York State Notary Public license is required.

The team is collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence across the entire development spectrum. They are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join their organization and play a key role in supporting the legal and transactional functions of the business.
Responsibilities
- Assist with real estate financing closings, including lender due diligence tracking, manage corporate disclosures and loan document organization.
- Post Closing Loan Asset Management:
- Create mortgage summaries and reporting compliance schedules
- Track post-closing borrower obligations
- Assist with various lender approval processes (e.g. lease approval)
- Arrange lender site tours
- Support leasing documentation (leases, amendments, SNDA’s, estoppels, and related agreements)
- Maintain and organize executed documents, logs, and internal filing systems
- Support corporate/entity administration and required filings, including:
- NY Biennial Statements
- Delaware Annual Reports
- Washington, D.C. Biennial Reports
- Draft and manage NDAs and other routine legal documentation
- Support litigation/claims administration by tracking materials, correspondence, and key deadlines
- Process legal invoices for payment (coding, routing for approval, submitting to Accounts Payable)
- Coordinate signature processes and notarize documents as needed
Qualifications
- Active New York State Notary Public (Required)
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal (real estate experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and professionalism with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Education (Preferred)
· Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, or
· Bachelor’s Degree + Paralegal Certificate (ABA-approved or equivalent), or
· Equivalent combination of legal experience and training
Compensation + Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience. Benefits include:

Holidays: 9 major holidays and 3 half days throughout the year. The corporate office is closed on all business days from December 25th through December 31st each calendar year with a reduced staff working remotely to keep operations running.
Summer Hours: All Fridays between July 4th and Labor Day, business hours end at 1:30pm.
