Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Wealth Preservation Practice Group in Dallas. This is a compelling opportunity to work closely with a seasoned team of attorneys advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex estate and tax planning matters.
Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

Active Bar Admission in Texas.

3–5 years of substantive experience in estate and wealth planning.

AmLaw 200 experience required. Familiarity with the pace and expectations of a sophisticated law firm environment is necessary.

Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning, probate, and trust administration, with a deep understanding of estate tax, gift tax, and generation-skipping transfer tax.

Demonstrated ability to prepare complex estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and lifetime irrevocable trusts.

Proficient in drafting and reviewing gift and estate tax returns.

Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on sophisticated estate and business planning strategies, including wealth transfer, charitable planning, and trust administration.

Draft estate planning documents tailored to the unique goals of high-net-worth clients, including multigenerational planning structures.

Manage the preparation and filing of federal gift and estate tax returns.

Collaborate with fiduciaries, financial advisors, and accountants to implement estate planning strategies and ensure tax compliance.

Assist in the administration of estates and trusts, including probate proceedings and ongoing fiduciary duties.
