Litigation Consultant

Location: Hybrid, Los Angelas, CA 

Position Summary
Assist in the development, organization, writing and presentation of a sound research study. He or she should support more senior consultants by: running focus groups; conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis; writing analysis of research results, including contributing to strategic ideas and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and run social science research projects, including moderating jury groups
• Travel to research and/or trial sites (approximately 15% to 20% of time away from home)
• Effective communication with colleagues and participants
• Assist with presenting research results, both oral and written, to trial teams and corporate clients in a clear and concise manner
• Train more junior staff in report-writing, research design, and research set-up 
• Conduct post-trial juror interviews
• Perform and/or supervise social media searches
• Assist with jury selection and witness preparation

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing, speaking, and presentation skills
• Ability to generate creative solutions to client problems
• Firm grasp of social science research methodology 
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ph.D. or Masters in the Social Sciences, Psychology, or Communications preferred or Law Degree
• Skilled in statistical analysis and interpretation
• Strong computer skills (word-processing, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Highly responsive to feedback
