
Job Description
Purpose: The Paralegal performs duties in conjunction with contract drafting and review, and litigation management to meet daily requirements and strategic goals of the company. This position reports to and supports the General Counsel and the Contracts and Litigation Manager.
Essential Duties:
- The candidate must have transactional/contract and litigation experience
- Review and/or draft and finalize contracts, master service agreements, statements of work, real estate leases, RFXs, and M&A due diligence and closings. Work with the company's customers, vendors and landlords to complete the transactional process.
- Maintain litigation docket and assist with case management; organize and respond to discovery requests, legal holds, and subpoenas; and manage outside counsel
- Use and maintain all law department software solutions

Work Experience
- 3-5 years paralegal experience
- Experience as paralegal in a corporate setting preferred.
Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations
- Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies or higher, or Paralegal Certificate
Specific Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using legal software. Knowledge of Legal Files is a plus
- Experience in environmental law is a plus
- Work Environment: While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works indoors, and may be required to sit for long periods. Individual will be required to regularly talk, hear, see and often reach with hands, stand, and walk, use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
