The Corporate Paralegal III is responsible for coordinating and managing a variety of corporate legal matters for Hanger, Inc., its direct and indirect subsidiaries, and related entities. This role involves corporate housekeeping, assisting business units with legal matters, contract management, and supporting the General Counsel and Legal Department.

Your Impact

General Corporate Housekeeping

  • Oversee ongoing corporate housekeeping, including entity formation, dissolution, mergers, and compliance with good standing and foreign qualifications in various jurisdictions.
  • Manage entity records and filings, including DBAs and EINs.
  • Assist in integrating newly acquired entities into Hanger, ensuring all corporate housekeeping matters are up to date.
  • Maintain records of entity ownership, directors, and officers.

Assisting Business Units/Other Departments with Corporate Legal Matters

  • Serve as the primary Legal Department liaison for corporate legal matters with other Hanger Business Units and Departments.
  • Provide support on corporate legal aspects related to the Regulatory Compliance, Tax, and Real Estate departments.

Contracts and Contract Management

  • Support internal and external counsel in various aspects of contracts and contracting.
  • Operate and maintain any contract management systems that may be implemented from time to time.

Support of General Counsel

  • Provide support to the General Counsel, internal and external counsel, and the Legal Department on various legal matters.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; paralegal certification preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a corporate paralegal or a minimum of five years of related experience.
