Trusts & Estates Associate (Mid to Senior-Level)

Practice Area: Trusts & Estates / Private Client Services

Location: Seattle, WA

Compensation: $235,000 to $420,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience.


Position Overview: Our client, a premier national law firm, is looking for an experienced Trusts & Estates Associate to join its highly respected Private Client Services Group. This position is open in several key markets and is suited for an attorney with two to eight years of dedicated experience in sophisticated wealth planning and preservation.


Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work with high-net-worth individuals and families, providing sophisticated counsel on all aspects of estate and tax planning. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing advanced estate planning techniques, creating and managing family offices, administering complex trusts, and advising on matters related to business succession, valuable art collections, and other unique assets.


Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; an LL.M. in Taxation is highly preferred.
  • 2-8 years of direct experience in trusts and estates law.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Must possess a strong academic background.
  • Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the desired office location.
