Job Description

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Assistant Secretary for Administration, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.

Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As a Supervisory Equal Employment Specialist , you will use your knowledge of and experience with ASA to optimize business results and customer experience by:

Assisting in the development and implementation of EEO policies and procedures to prevent and eliminate individual and systemic discrimination, with a strong emphasis on managing the informal complaint process.

Processing EEO complaints including overseeing the work of EEO personnel to ensure the fair and prompt processing of counseling contacts, informal and formal complaints, investigations or resolution of complaints.

Ensuring workforce is aware of EEO processes, protections afforded under EEO federal sector laws, and advises management on best courses of action.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing at least ALL of the following:
