Litigation Attorney

SUMMARY:

Were seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join a mid-size law firm with offices in multiple states. As a Litigation Associate, you will be at the forefront handling a diverse array of complex cases and collaborating closely with other experienced attorneys.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Participate in depositions and court hearings
• Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys
• Manage discovery processes, including document production and interrogatories
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization
• Maintain client communications and provide regular updates on case progress
• Prepare legal correspondence and maintain thorough case files
• Additional Duties as assigned.

MUST HAVE:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• License to Practice in the state of CT
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Insurance, Construction, Bankruptcy &/or Commercial litigation
• Strong Research, Writing, Communication, Understanding and Effectively Negotiating Complex Issues etc.
