Entry Level Civil Litigation Attorney

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC is a civil litigation firm that focuses on plaintiff's side personal injury and school/government liability cases. As an Entry Level Attorney at our firm, you will gain hands-on experience in litigation while receiving strong mentorship and professional development opportunities.

The right candidate will have a strong interest in civil litigation and a willingness to learn trial advocacy, deposition strategy, and case management. Entry Level Attorneys receive direct guidance from lead attorneys, participate in trial preparation, and develop litigation skills through structured training programs. We provide cutting-edge support, including AI technology, to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing civil litigation cases under the supervision of senior attorneys.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as part of your professional development.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to advance case strategy.
• Collaborate with colleagues on trial preparation and legal proceedings.
• Participate in mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, and focus groups.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California or awaiting Bar results with plans to obtain licensure.
• Interest in personal injury, school/government liability, and general civil litigation.
• Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team.

Pay Range: $75,000 to $95,000 annual salary, DOE
