Job Description
Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities.
Duties Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, implementing overseeing and evaluating contract Unit Management/Correspondence efforts within the Bureau. Coordinate the involvement of the various Bureau divisions, maintaining liaison with members of Congress, judges, other DOJ components, foreign, state and local governments. Develops policy and provides guidance to the staff members who work under the unit management concept. Responsible for developing policy, providing expert advice in an area of correctional specialty, or to provide guidance, direction, supervision advice and/or evaluation for a program or programs in correctional facilities. Prepares high-quality correspondence in response to inquiries to the public, other agencies, Congressional Correspondence, and internal memoranda. Salary- $142,488 - $185,234/year
