Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have experience in probate and estate administration, with a focus on assisting elderly clients and their families navigate the complexities of estate settlement and probate proceedings. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, serving a diverse clientele with compassion and expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Guide clients through the probate process, including filing necessary documents, resolving creditor claims, and distributing assets according to the decedent's wishes or applicable laws.
- Provide comprehensive estate administration services, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and deadlines.
- Advise clients on matters related to wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver personalized solutions tailored to each client's unique needs and objectives.
- Represent clients in probate court proceedings, including contested matters, when necessary.
- Stay abreast of changes in probate laws and regulations, and incorporate best practices into client service delivery.
