Job Description

As an Escrow Manager, you’ll play a critical role in closing real estate transactions while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.  You’ll leverage your deep understanding of title and escrow processes to deliver reliable, high-quality service for our clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the escrow process. What You’ll Do:
 
  • Complete the full escrow process for residential and/or REO transactions from open to close
  • Review and interpret purchase agreements, title commitments, lender instructions, and other closing documents
  • Prepare escrow instructions, estimated settlement statements, and final closing packages in accordance with Texas guidelines
  • Request payoffs, verify wire instructions, and manage the disbursement of funds upon closing
  • CD/Settlement Statement: Prepare the CD/Settlement Statement in accordance with the lender’s terms and conditions, confirming title and recording fees are accurately reflected.
  • Coordinate document signing appointments and ensure proper notarization and return of executed documents
  • Pre-Closing Call: Conduct a Pre-Closing call to the notary and customer to confirm appointment and answer any questions.
  • Confirm closing: Confirm closing appointment is completed
  • Review: Review signed closing package and partner closing with the notary for any corrections.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the Lender’s package is correct, delivery closing package to notary via secure portal
  • Ensure timely recording and disbursement
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for closing inquiries, facilitating clear and professional communication between clients and the borrower.
  • Process emails and respond to all incoming requests in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and service
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in the closing production system, documenting all actions and communications.
  • Escalate complex issues to management or for resolution guidance.
  • Consistently meet established service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and internal performance metrics.
  • Assist with closing production improvements and participate in training new specialists as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.  
 
What You Need:
 
  • 5+ years of escrow experience and 2+ years of Escrow Officer experience handling full transaction.
  • Deep understanding of Texas escrow procedures, title insurance, and related real estate documents.
  • Experience with Resware, closing production software is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude and strong sense of customer service and collaboration.
