Job Description

We are seeking a Family Law Attorney to become a part of our team. The team member we are looking for is organized, professional, responsible, reliable, capable of working with limited supervision and committed to helping us meet all our clients' needs.

This position will primarily be family law and the rest of the time will be assisting in immigration law. We are looking for newly licensed attorney or someone with 1-5 years experience in family law, who ready to hit the ground running. 


Responsibilities & Duties

All matters pertaining to family law, including but not limited to:

  • Filing pleadings for SAPCR's, Protective orders, Divorced Petitions
  • Temporary/Final Hearings in Williamson, Travis, Hays, Bastrop, Burnet, and Bexar County courts
  • Preparing Discovery, final orders, Discovery Responses
  • Mediation

All matters pertaining to immigration law, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting in preparation of U-visa, T-visa, SIJ, and asylum cases;
  • Attending EOIR immigration Court throughout the United States
  • Preparing clients for credible/reasonable fear in detention facilities

Qualifications (Preferred, Required)

Required Skills:

  • Must be approachable and able to effectively communicate with professionalism;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to build rapport with clients; and
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Must be in good standing and licensed in Texas
  • No experience necessary, but Clinic experience preferred

Job Type: Full Time

Days: M-F

Location: North Austin

Salary: 85,000 - 120,000 (DOE) Negotiable

Benefits: Vacation Leave/Personal Leave; medical benefits after 60 days; Opportunities for On-Going
