The Town of Marana is seeking a Court Clerk to work in the Marana Municipal Court. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a court setting. The Court Clerk supports and upholds the Town's cultural values by providing excellent customer service and performing court-related clerical work to include file management, payment receipting, and document processing.

Expected Hiring Range: $17.87/hr. – $21.89/hr.- Placement within the expected hiring range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity and/or budget
Salary Range: $17.87/hr. – $25.91/hr.
- Examples of Duties
- Greets customers; responds to inquiries from the public; provides excellent customer service.
- Processes citations; schedules civil hearings; maintains the court calendar; creates, maintains and processes court files; prepares correspondence; processes incoming and outgoing mail; processes payments; prepares daily reports; issues abstracts; processes public records requests
- Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency plus six months of additional education or training
- Over one year of customer service, administrative support, or closely related experience.
- Must pass fingerprint clearance background check.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Two or more years work experience in a court setting
- Experience using the Arizona Supreme Court’s AJACS case management system
