Position Summary
The Manager will focus on the daily oversight of operational processes, policy, strategy and development of efficiencies within the department. Additionally, the manager will adhere to the highest quality with focus on communication and implementation of client expectations, alerts and escalations; aligning staff with company goals while adhering to existing firm culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage and oversee the Firms Financial Operations Department including:
- Staff management
- Billing related to all fees and costs produced by firm's business line
- Invoice generation, transmission, and submission
- Implementation of all client expectations, alerts, and escalations
- Coordination between operational departments
- Supply guidance to financial decision-making process by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policy and procedure in support of PLG initiatives.
- Protect Firm financial revenue by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing invoice management controls.
- Monitor and confirm department condition and performance through internal audit process.
- Develop and recommend solutions for problem areas or situations.
- Implement project management and oversight related to client and investor billing directives or initiatives.
- Perform various ad hoc analyses and special projects.
- Develop and improve processes and resources to successfully support the performance of Financial Operations Departmental staff.
- Partner with other firm leadership to ensure financial excellence throughout the firm through rigorous QA/QC processes.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Two years, minimum, managing personnel within an invoicing environment
- Five years, minimum, working in the Creditors Rights industry, with Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
- Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge and experience with a360's CaseAware system, and corresponding, third-party, client systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
