Job Description

Schwegman is seeking qualified patent attorneys having a JD and a Ph.D. in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, immunology, or biotechnology. We are particularly interested in candidates with a book of business of at least about $500k.
 
Required: JD, Ph.D., Prosecutor who has experience in opinion work, due diligence, and strategic management of patent portfolios, solid work ethic and efficiency, and solid interpersonal skills are of particular interest.
 
Preferred: Post-doctoral experience in fields above, PTAB proceedings or litigation experience, in-house or transactional experience, and a desire to build business.
 
Preferred location: Minnesota, California, Remote
 
Attorneys at Schwegman may be exposed to technical information that may be subject to U.S. Export Control laws. Therefore, proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency ("Green Card") status may be required before consideration for a position.
